Welcome to the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) programme at Hong Kong Baptist University! As the Programme Director, it is my pleasure to introduce you to our esteemed programme that prepares aspiring professional accountants for successful careers in the dynamic field of accounting and financial services.

Our programme, delivered by the Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance (AEF) of the School of Business at HKBU, is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies necessary to excel in today’s complex business environment.  We offer a diverse range of specialized courses that cover key areas, including financial and managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, and data analytics. Students will acquire in-depth accounting knowledge, develop critical analytical skills, and learn how to apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations.

We are committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment, where students have ample opportunities to engage in group projects, case studies, and interactive discussions. Additionally, we encourage students to actively participate in professional networking events, internships, and industry placements to gain practical exposure and establish valuable connections within the accounting and financial industry.
